Gunshot Victim in Critical Condition After Anderson Shooting

Sheriff’s Office responded to Mercy Hospital for a reported gunshot victim who was dropped off at the emergency room.

The victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his torso area. At about that time, dispatch received a report that the incident had possibly taken place at a parking lot at Win River Casino or a nearby address on Lloyd Ln. Pot Raids Remove 82,704 Plants, Arrest 3, Seize Guns

Starting June 21 and ending June 30, 2011, the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Eradication Team conducted marijuana eradication operations throughout Shasta County. During the operations, a total of 82,704 marijuana plants were eradicated, 3 arrests were made and 3 weapons were seized. The weapons were an SKS assault type rifle, 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun and a .22 caliber rifle. Charges of 11358 H&S, 11359 H&S, 148(A)(1) PC and 12023 PC will be filed against all three suspects.
