Attempted Robbery in Burney


On Thursday, June 26, 2014, at approximately 04:51 P.M., an employee of the Burney Rite Aid called 911 to report an attempted robbery. Deputies from the Burney Station responded, and arrived moments after the initial call. The employee reported the suspect gave an employee at the pharmacy a demand note. The suspect left after a few moments. Deputies conducted an extensive search of the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. More information will be released, including surveillance video, as it becomes available. SUSPECT(S): White Male Adult, 20-30’s, Short Beard/Lighter Colored, Approximately 6’0, 160 lbs., Dark Hooded Sweatshirt, Black Beanie, Dark Pants, and Aviator type Sun Glasses.
