Man Killed by Train Identified as 56-Year-Old Redding Man

On Saturday, 08/20/2011, at approximately 0809 hours (8:09 a.m.), deputies from the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a subject who was hit by a train in the area of Lake Boulevard and Irish Road in Redding.

Upon arrival on scene, the subject was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

The decedent has been identified as Lancelot Jameson Jackson (date of birth, 2/10/1955).
