CRIME/INCIDENT: Gunshot Victim
LOCATION: Lloyd Ln., Anderson, Ca 96007
VICTIM(S): White Male Adult, name withheld at this time
SUSPECT(S): Withheld at this time
SYNOPSIS: On the above date and time deputies with the Sheriff’s Office responded to Mercy Hospital for a reported gunshot victim who was dropped off at the emergency room.
The victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his torso area. At about that time, dispatch received a report that the incident had possibly taken place at a parking lot at Win River Casino or a nearby address on Lloyd Ln. When deputies checked the Lloyd Ln. address, they located a subject that had minor injuries from what appeared to be a struggle.
It was apparent that the incident had taken place at the Lloyd Ln. address and not Win River.
Detectives with the Shasta County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded and are following up on several leads and interviewing witnesses. The gunshot victim underwent emergency surgery and is listed in critical but stable condition.
