When 65 to 70 percent of the voters approve ballot measures and you criticize the top vote recievers by making fun of them by some wierd lllistration of sexial orientation, I would be concern more about you. I think you could work on a more positive spin to your cartoons, they should funny not creepy.

Oh fa gawd's sake James, lighten the hell up. Did we get outta' bed on the wrong side this morning or did the time channge get your Hanes in a bunch?

Funny toon Phil. I knew you could use these three, the stooges, in your parody.

They're fun to watch. Ol' Baseball Bossetti and gun totin' tea head Patrick Henry as well as Bitchin' Cadd. Cadd will no doubt keep watching the council to make certain no ice creme truck rules are broken and to insure horses are tied to the rails next to the saloon. By God, this council has newly passed chicken ordinances to watch too.

Budd, that's one of the funniest comments I've read in a long time.

Thanx ya' Barb. It just gets my pants in a bunch when someone cuts our Philbert.

He's like a treasure in this conserative community who, the citizens, would back either Calvin Coolige or Herbert Hoover if they were to run today.

Again, funny toon Phil but I guess you grate the right. Ha ! :>)

Typically, around 70 percent of Shasta County voters consistently go against California State majority. Unfortunately, those voters influence local Redding races mostly and weird & creepy is what we end up with.. in my opinion.

      Funny stuff Philbert!

I agree. When you call it "Sexial" it does sound creepy. Leave it at Sexual and it is very funny!

  3. Avatar Carolyn Jones says:

When the subject matter is creepy there is nowhere else to go. Sometimes truth is painful. Good job (as usual) Phil.

  4. Avatar Laurie says:

Well, Mr. James, it's pretty simple: the election GAVE us the creeps, so we NEED the laughs.

Keep up the subversive snark, Phil!

  5. Avatar Redding Anon says:

The whole site is creepy without Kelly

    • Avatar Budd Hodges says:

Rdg. Anon. This site is so much better off lacking the Brewers. Their talent was so void and sketchy and considering the circumstances, Anewscafe is better off without them.

Upward and onward "A News Cafe". com

Phil, Never underestimate the value of your insightful cartoons for us progressive thinkers in Redding. Thank you.
