Gots to admit, I love this guy. What talent! He should be famous. And Doni, your story was the highlight of my week. Laughed!

    Great one, Philbert!

The City needs a new ordinance. Draft language:

One of every four eggs laid in the City of Redding must be used for the purpose of promoting the arts, education and overnight accommodational opportunities. Nothing in this section shall be construed to permit the use of the aforesaid fourth egg, nor the preceding three eggs, for the use of decorating public or non-profit edifices, nor for communicating with the directors, agents, employees or patrons thereof.

Spoken by a True Garden Cultivating Patriot !.. the little chicken on the sign, that is. Funny facial detail, Philbert!

  6. Avatar Budd Hodges says:

Phil…I'm pleased that you too realize that chickens are a gateway bird which lead to stronger more dangerous birds and their eggs, which will lead you to a life of crime and degradation. We, as citizens of B.B. Redding, must keep this in mind.

His honor Patrick Henry Jones could revive the slogan, "A chicken in every pot!"

Funny toon Philbert! Keep 'em coming.

  7. Avatar Russell K. Hunt says:

Tommy Chong would say it's pot in every chicken.

Hey Phil: Enjoyed meeting you at the Social Media conference at Shasta College last Saturday. You are an excellent cartoonist, and I agree with "Mrs. Beans" that you should be famous, or better yet, rich and famous! How's that?
