Redding Grocery Outlet Picks (Go Picks)
I had to stop myself from buying the $5 peach trees (the deer will eat them) by the GO’s front door. Instead, for this week’s GO picks I must have had breakfast in mind.
First I chose this 8-lb. sack of Valencia Oranges. GO price, $4.99, EW (elsewhere) price, $5.99. Fresh-squeezed orange juice, here I come.
And I was happy about my purchase of a three-pack of Canadian Bacon (8 ounces each). I like that I can use what I want and keep the other packs closed until I need them, so they’ll stay fresher longer. GO price, $3.99; EW (elsewhere) price, $6.99.
As usual, I also bought my weekly staples, like wine, cheese and Italian olive oil. Let me know if I missed something crucial. See you next time.
