NAACP Hosts Town Hall Meeting, Barbecue Fundraiser Tuesday

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, local branch 1056, sponsors a fundraiser barbecue dinner, membership drive and community forum with guest speakers Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko and California Highway Patrol, Captain J. Flavin on Tues. Aug. 9, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Youth Dance Contest, Dinner at MLK Center Wednesday

The local branch of the N.A.A.C.P and MLK Multicultural Center presents a dance contest on Wednesday, July 20th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
