NAACP Hosts Town Hall Meeting, Barbecue Fundraiser Tuesday

What: Town Hall Meeting & Fundraiser Barbecue

Where: MLK Multicultural Center, 1815 Sheridan St, Redding
Cost: $8

The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, local branch 1056, sponsors a fundraiser barbecue dinner, membership drive and community forum with guest speakers Shasta County Sheriff Tom Bosenko and California Highway Patrol, Captain J. Flavin on Tues. Aug. 9, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Law enforcement and community issues will be discussed at 6:30 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Multicultural Center located at 1815 Sheridan Street in Redding.
