    In reply to Mahmoud Darwish. I'm a fan of both bands. Meat Puppets are great. Weird that John Frusciante wanted to be in the band after quitting RHCP and auditioned, but apparently heavy drug use on both sides got in the way.

    In reply to Mahmoud Darwish. Not half bad—maybe even a nod to the seminal punk band The Minutemen with D. Boon and Mike Watt—but I don't think of R.V. as particularly woke.
