    In reply to Joanne Lobeski Snyder. Pay was $100 per day ~10 years ago, although you were encouraged to donate it to one of a handful of recommended charities. County employees are also paid their normal salaries from their everyday departments in addition to the ~$100 stipend from the elections department. https://www.elections.co.shasta.ca.us/volunteer/volunteer-info/becoming-a-poll-worker/
