Whiskeytown National Recreation Area invites you to catch a ride to Brandy Creek Beach on the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) Beach Bus! Thanks to a 2017 Dignity Health Community Grant received by the Friends of Whiskeytown, visitors can now ride the bus from Redding to Whiskeytown for $1.50 each way and children under 6 years of age get to ride for free.
National Park Service staff will celebrate the launch of this summer’s Beach Bus on Thursday, June 15th, at 9:00 a.m. at the RABA Downtown Transit Center, joining a youth group from the Shasta Family YMCA on their way to cool off from the summer heat at Brandy Creek Beach. Join us in celebrating this opportunity and Find Your Park on the Beach Bus!
