Junior & Waterfront Lifeguard Training to Begin Monday

Whiskeytown is offering Junior Lifeguard and Waterfront Lifeguard training programs on Mondays and Wednesdays from June 27 to August 2, 2011. The training will run from 10:30 am to 1 pm at Brandy Creek Beach. Participants must be between the ages of 10 and 17 years old, willing to follow directions, in good physical condition, and have the ability to swim 400 yards in 12 minutes or less. In addition, trainees must be willing to commit to the program with no more than two absences. There will not be any training on Monday, July 4, and Wednesday, July 6. Continue Reading
