14 month old Lucas was diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma, a tumor in the brain that measured the size of a tangerine. Lucas underwent surgery to remove the tumor and test showed Lucas was in the clear. 3 months later, Lucas’ family learned that their son’s tumor recurred and to make matters worse, a new tumor was found in the spine. Doctors say Lucas has two different malignancies.
Lucas will soon begin 1 year of high dose chemotherapy treatment with stem cell support.
On Sunday, March 25th, Mary’s Pizza Shack and Wings of Angels will host a fundraiser for Lucas and his family who have a long and extremely difficult road ahead. Join us and help support! 20% of sales generated during the fundraiser will help Lucas and his family during this tough time.
Fundraiser will be held from 11am to 9pm at both Redding and Anderson Mary’s Pizza Shack. BloodSource will conduct a Blood Drive from 12 to 4pm @ Mary’s Pizza Shack in Redding.
