Shasta County’s mailed ballots for the March 5 Presidential Primary Election have reached their destinations.

Some of the most hotly contested races are among nine Shasta County Board of Supervisors candidates. A News Cafe reached out to all the supervisor candidates. Five accepted A News Cafe’s invitation to answer identical questions. Candidates who did not accept the invitation are District 2 candidate Dan Sloan, District 3 candidates Corkey Harmon and Win Carpenter, and District 4 incumbent/candidate Patrick Jones.
