Last, Absolutely Final Call for ANC Carr Fire Scholarship Applications: June 10

Do you know any 2020 graduating high school seniors who lost their homes in the Carr Fire? A News Cafe is granting six $1,000 scholarships this spring to those qualifying students who will be progressing onto college or trade school in the fall. We’ve received some applications, but still have a few openings available.

These scholarships were made available thanks to the ANC Carr Fire Scholarship Fund online auction, generously made possible and supported by ANC readers and community members and businesses.

Because the world is upside down in the middle of a pandemic, and there are no traditional graduations or awards ceremonies, we have done a few extensions for A News Cafe’s Carr Fire Scholarship Fund application to accommodate students and their families during these tumultuous times.

We are granting one final application deadline of June 10. Click here for the application and more information.

Applications should be postmarked by June 10 and mailed to Doni Chamberlain/A News Cafe, P.O. Box 990644, Redding, CA 96099.

Good luck!
