Adam McElvainOn August 15th, business owner and community leader Adam McElvain will hold a forum to discuss the potential of bringing “UltraFast Internet” to Redding and the benefits to the community from access to this future service. To help facilitate discussion and community education on the topic, McElvain has organized and will be highlighting local experts as panelists to discuss the value of developing this existing resource in Redding. Topics include what it will take to develop the project, as well as how ultra-high speed internet can improve Redding’s business climate and positively impact our citizen’s future and quality of life.
The local experts serving on the panel are: JASON EATMON (Vice President, Development Group, Inc); FAYE HALL (Software/Networking Engineer & Founder of “Built It” & “Code IT”); ANDY MAIN (CEO of Shasta.com & Shasta Beam); and CLAUDIA ESCOBAR (Marketing Consultant/Content Strategist for
Thompson Reuters).
The forum will be held in the Community Room at the Redding Library on August 15th. Doors will open at 11:45am, with the forum to begin at 12:10pm. The forum will be concluded by 1pm.
