The Anderson Teen Center provides a second home to many youth in our community, offering leadership, recreation, artistic, and educational programs and activities. The Anderson Teen Center Advisory Board works in partnership with Teen Center staff and the Anderson Partnership for Healthy Children Collaborative, to help support the Anderson Teen Center through its advisory, fundraising, and promotional efforts.
The Anderson Teen Center was founded in 2001 to support youth in the City of Anderson and outlying areas. The Teen Center’s mission is to create a safe and productive environment for youth. The Teen Center engages youth in asset building activities that contribute toward their growth into responsible and caring members of this community. The Teen Center has many success stories of youth who have passed through its doors over the years. There was a need in 2001, and there continues to be an increasing need for support and funding for the programs and activities offered to youth through the Anderson Teen Center.
The Teen Center Advisory Board is asking for your help by contributing to “Michele’s Dream for Youth” – 2nd Annual Teen Center Fundraiser. This year’s event will be a dinner held on January 28, 2013 at the Anderson Teen Center. Contributions can be made and dinner tickets can be purchased on line at http://www.shastacapc.org/Dream.htm or send to the address below.
When: January 28, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Serving 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
