Have you experienced negative messages telling you that you can’t do things or should look and behave in certain ways just because you are a girl. Girls Inc. is there to remind girls that this is just…well, nonsense. Girls Inc. knows girls can do anything and become anything they try.
The workshop for girls 9-14 will be held:

Location: Shasta Lake School MPR Room (off the gym)
Time: 9:00-2:00
Cost: FREE, lunch is included
PLUS: One girl will be eligible to receive a $50 scholarship for writing a feedback essay.
The orientation will help you learn how to:
-Identify your personal leadership style
-Connect with organizations that need help
-Hear from local women leaders who have changed their community
-Impact your community and create lasting social change by partnering with women in your community action projects chosen by you
