On 5-25-2012 at approximately 2040 hours, a report of a fall victim was reported at Slaughterhouse Island.    Several witnesses observed a 22 year old male subject jump from the roof of one houseboat to the roof of another. The subject slipped and fell into the water. Two of the witnesses jumped into the water and after several minutes of searching, recovered the male subject who was found unconscious.  A Boating and Safety officer along with a Cal-Fire boat responded and arrived within just a few minutes of the accident. The male fall victim was transported to the hospital via ambulance, and his condition is unknown at this time.

  2. Kashmir houseboats are associated closely with the valley's culture and traditions. A brilliant idea that started from constructing small boats was later revolutionized with transforming these boats into spacious modern styled floating hotels. houseboats are all made of the finest cedar wood that follows with intricate walnut wood carvings, paneled walls and tiled baths. Our boats are categorized in the super deluxe category and each boat has an assorted number of three to four bedrooms with a private bath and wash room.
