Shasta County Jail Inmate Attempts Suicide

On 4/15/2012 at approximately 1335 hours staff at the Shasta County Jail discovered an inmate had attempted suicide in his cell. Life saving efforts were begun and medical personnel were summoned. The subject was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition. Shasta counties Multi Agency Critical Incident Protocol was activated and personnel from the Shasta County District Attorneys Office as well as Redding Police Department and the Shasta County Sheriffs Office are investigating the incident. An updated press release will be issued as soon as additional information is available.

    i will try posting again – i could make comments about this case but i know its not the right forum. but will say these things – i am sad for the mother and family of the little boy – and i am sad for the family of the man accused cause they have a loss also. but most of all i am sad for angel that we will never see his potential that has been lost.
