Old Shasta Schoolhouse Barn Dance!

The Muletown String Band will kick up its boots as part of the Shasta Service Guild’s Old Schoolhouse Barn Dance on Saturday (Oct. 29) at the schoolhouse located on French Alley (just past J’s Market) in Shasta. Those attending are encouraged to come dressed in Old West or western costumes or just come as you are.

The event includes line dance lessons from 5 to 6 p.m. and a barn-dance concert from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets ($10) include prizes for barn-dancy costumes and autumn snacks. There will also be no-host punch, coffee and soda.

Proceeds benefit the Shasta Service Guild’s water-for-the-park project and operations. Call 243-5399 for tickets and information.
