Painter/musician J. Norman Stewart (aka: John N. Stewart) spent 60 years in the Los Angeles area and played at Tony Danza’s “My Place” restaurant, The Alley Cat Bistro, Alphonses (in Toluca Lake), and several venues in Newport Beach.
His style is light, sometimes whimsical, and he prefers old standards, gospel, show tunes, Brazillian jazz, film scores and some old jazz standards. His style is a mixture of a bit of Errol Garner, Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett and Pete Jolly.
All are welcome.
