Medford Police Seek Suspect After Calling Off Pursuit

On 8/30/11 at approximately 1506 hours, Medford Police Officers were assisting DHS in a home assessment in the 700 block of Wabash Ave.

Officers were unable to get anyone inside the residence to come to the door. Suddenly a male subject ran out of the back door and hopped a fence. Officers attempted to restrain the subject, who was able to break free and get into a nearby vehicle.

The suspect fled the area in a vehicle at a high rate of speed. Medford Police officers terminated their pursuit due to the potential danger to the public.

Medford Police are looking for:
Clement, Edward Allen. 47 y.o.a.
6’4” 230 pounds, brown hair, blue eyes

The vehicle Clement was driving is:
Silver 1996 BMW 328 2-door
OR license: 227EJK

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Edward Clement or the suspect vehicle, are asked to contact the Medford Police Department (Refer to case #11-15514).
