Joshua Danks
On 5/28/2011 at 2201 hrs, a robbery took place at Mangrove Bottle at 1350 Mangrove Avenue in Chico. During the robbery, two male suspects threatened the clerk with liquor bottles and claimed to have weapons. The suspects fled the scene on foot and possibly on a bicycle. Surveillance video was subsequently released to the media.
Recently, Chico Police Property Crimes Detectives developed information regarding the identity of one of the suspects. Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating Joshua Danks, age 20. Danks, alias Elias Thompson, is believed to be in the Chico area and may be associated with a cream colored Lexus.
Mr. Danks should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Chico Police Department at 895-4911 or Detective Joel Schmid at (530) 897-5823.
