Blue Goose Fine Art Gallery Explores Co-Op Transition

To continue the spirit of the Blue Goose Gallery, Deb Groesser and others are exploring the opportunity of transitioning it into an artist’s co-op, and they need your help. If you are an artist of any medium (paint, photography, wood, glass, jewelry, sculpture, fabric, etc.), or you know an artist who you think would be a great addition, please respond to as soon as possible.

The group members envision having 30-35 member artists who will enjoy being part of a thriving and fabulous gallery. The gallery will offer a range of art mediums and styles, from well-known artists to emerging talents, and will host summer art shows with rotating featured artists. Local and area artists are welcome and the group hopes to also have representation from Reno, Redding, Red Bluff, Cottonwood, Chico, Paradise, Susanville, Quincy, Graeagle and other areas. Hours of operation of the gallery could be maximized during the busy summer months, and minimized during the winter months. Artists from out-of-town could choose to help at the gallery more days in the summer so they don’t need to drive in during snowy weather. If you are interested or have ideas or comments, they are looking forward to hearing back from you right away. Contact Deb Groesser, 607 Main St., Chester, CA 96020.
