What: John Reit’s BBQ Boot Camp
When: May 7, 10 a.m. to 3 p.
Cost: $10 and $35 for materials fee paid to instructor for food, supplies and handouts.
Be comfortable at home with your barbeque grill and smoke cooker during this hands-on class. Participation and applications, type of charcoal, fire control, meat preparation and food handling safety using a Weber Kettle, BBQ, water smoker and more. Recipes for award winning pork ribs, delicious tri-tip, yard bird and south slow-cooking specialties will be provided.
Assistant instructors are Chris Reit and Andrew Reit. Upon registration, directions to the West Redding class location and a list of student supplies will be provided. BBQ Boot Camp t-shirts will be available for purchase.
