Snow Cancels Turtle Bay Lecture

Bad weather has forced officials at Turtle Bay Exploration Park to cancel tonight’s lecture on climbing Mt. Shasta. The speaker, a veteran climbing guide, can’t get to Redding because of all the snow to the north.

As I reported the other day here, Chris Carr of Shasta Climbing Guides was supposed to talk tonight about his 16 years of exploring Mt. Shasta.

Turtle Bay has a new exhibit on “The Art of Mt. Shasta.”
