Middle class patients would see the biggest difference, likely trading moderate copays with ~1-3 month wait times for low/no copays with 3-6 month wait times.     In reply to Beverly Stafford. You're right that back in the day, it was assumed that women would take their husbands' names. But even now, the tradition is a strong one, even with modern couples. I recall George and Sue Economou going by Greek grandparent names, too. So cool.

    In reply to Steve Towers. The name "Towers" is definitely a keeper. Interesting about your son-in-law taking your name, too. That must have brought up a peg in your esteem. Your story about the newly created shared name is interesting, especially in light of its meaning.
