Watch the skies above Redding as The Canadian Forces Snowbirds jet team will arrive tomorrow, September 23, 2014 in preparation of the Exchange Club of Redding’s Air Show 2014.
The Canadian Forces F-18 will be overhead on Thursday morning, September 25, 2014.
Friday the skies will be alive most of the day as more planes arrive and others tune up for the weekend show.
Aircraft will begin leaving as soon as the show ends Sunday. The F-18 departs Monday, September 29, 2014. The Snowbirds head back to Canada on Wednesday morning, October 1, 2014.
The show is Saturday, September 27 and Sunday, September 28, 2014 at the Redding Municipal Airport.
General Admission tickets are on sale at all Raley’s locations in Redding (201 Lake Blvd, Redding, CA 96003), Red Bluff and Chico. Presale cost is $12 for adults and $17 at the gate. Children 6-11 are $5 presale and at the gate. Children 5 and under are free. General Admission tickets are also available online at reddingairshow.org/secure/tickets.htm.
For the first time, a special photographers area has been set up for a cost of $35. These tickets are available online at reddingairshow.org/secure/tickets.htm and at the gate. These passes can be picked up at the air show office located near the gate starting Wednesday and at the show Saturdayand Sunday morning.
A limited number of Flight Deck tickets are available for a presale cost of $95 each online at reddingairshow.org/secure/tickets.htm. Flight Deck tickets are $125 if purchased at the gate.
