Joining Art, Music & Athletics (JAMA) presents its first performance on Saturday, September 20th at 7pm in north Redding. The performance will showcase routines from the JAMA Dance Company (a not-for-profit, outreach-aimed professional dance organization), young students from the JAMA dance program, and guest performances from professional dancers based in San Francisco and Los Angeles.
Keeping with the true spirit of a benefit performance, tickets are not available for purchase. Instead, JAMA is asking that attendees donate an amount of their choosing to help support future JAMA events. Also during the event, JDC dancers will raffle off baskets of goodies and services. From the money raised, the JDC will provide free performances, classes, and mentoring workshops for families in need.
The benefit performance will be held at the Visual Rhythms Fitness Studio, 1072 Lake Blvd, Redding, at 7pm, with doors opening at 6:30pm. For more information please contact JAMA Artistic Director and Founder: LisaMarie at 650-425-0212 or jama.inc@hushmail.com.
