On Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 6:59 p.m., Officer Chris Mills was patrolling in the area of Twin View Blvd. and Mountain View Drive when he observed a stolen vehicle that had been reported to him earlier in the day. A woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of the white Ford F150 pickup. Officer Mills detained the woman and conducted an investigation.
Officer Mills arrested the woman, Victoria Dawn Hewitt, 28, of Cottonwood, on suspicion of vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant. The pickup was returned to its owner.
