“Oil Painting has been my passion and great love for most of my life. I am grateful that I am able to pursue my dream. I am endlessly fascinated by color and light and the way the two elements play with each other. My studio work has to do more with form and colors, while my plein air work has, sometimes, more to do with light, the fleeting lights, and composition. Chasing the light has become a regular pursuit! I have had great fun and adventure all over the world chasing this light. Italy has amazing light, but France is also pretty fabulous. When in the studio, I paint in either my Redding Studio or my Pacific Grove Studio. I love Northern California and its diverse sceneries. This area is home to many fine artists and I am happy to be part of the art community.”
