The swine flu epidemic hasn’t ended, and Shasta County Public Health officials still urge residents to get vaccinated.
“The virus is still circulating,” said Dr. Andrew Deckert, “and we have enough vaccine for everyone who wants it. Very young children, older adults and people with chronic diseases are at highest risk for the most severe complications if they get the flu.”
Private health care providers all over the county have the H1N1 vaccine now, and vaccinations are available at Public Health offices as well. For more info, click here.
