Today, I’m announcing my campaign for Shasta County Supervisor, District 1 — and I wanted you to hear it directly from me.
Our county is at a crossroads. Families, neighborhoods, and small businesses are carrying the weight of instability, frustration, and decisions that don’t reflect who we are or what we value.
Like many of you, I’ve had enough — enough chaos, enough inconsistency, and enough leadership that puts politics before people.
That ends now.
I am running because Shasta County deserves stability, accountability, and honest leadership. And I’m ready to deliver exactly that.
Growing up on my family’s ranch here in Redding, I learned what responsibility really looks like — you show up, you work hard, you take care of people, and you do what’s right even when it’s difficult. Those values shaped me as a business owner, as a mother of four, as a Councilmember, and as Mayor. They’re the same values I will bring to the Board of Supervisors.
Here’s what I’m fighting for:
• Mental Health & Community Safety
Our county rejected millions in funding that would have helped families in crisis. That was unacceptable. I support advancing the Sheriff’s Rehabilitation Campus, the True North Behavioral Health Center, and expanding crisis support for hospitals and first responders.
• Justice & Accountability
Victims deserve justice. Prosecutors deserve support. The District Attorney’s Office is overwhelmed and understaffed, and that must change.
• Fiscal Responsibility & Transparent Governance
I will put an end to misleading budget practices and self-serving decisions — including the Board’s recent 58.9% salary increase. Taxpayers deserve honesty, not accounting tricks.
This campaign is about restoring leadership that serves the people — all of the people — of Shasta County.
And I can’t do it alone.
If you’re ready for a county that works for its residents again, I’m asking you to stand with me today.

Our families deserve a stable, thriving community. We deserve a Board that leads with clarity and integrity.
We’ve had enough — and together, we can build something better.
