Live Entertainment in the North State: October 5 – 11

Shelly Rusk performs at Kelly’s Pub and Wine Bar in Redding this Saturday, October 8, at 6:30 pm.

Come October 7, Graham Nash plays at the State Theatre in Red Bluff, and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band plays Win-River Casino in Redding. Both start at 7:30 pm. That seems unfair, but there it is.  Enjoy, and thanks for supporting our local live entertainment scene.

We have two new music venues in Redding. Well, they’re “new” in the sense that they’ve just started hosting music. One is Fall River Taproom on east Cypress, and the other is the Branch House Riverfront Bistro near Sundial Bridge.

Hal Johnson

Born and raised in Ventura County, Hal Johnson moved to Shasta County in 1994. After a 38 year career flying helicopters, he can now sometimes be spotted around the North State singing and wrestling his guitar into submission. He always feels funny writing about himself in the third person. Contact him at shastalivemusic@gmail.com.
