The Brothers Reed will perform at Whiskeytown Lake on the Sound Wave Jam Pad floating stage this Friday at 6:30 pm.
The Sound Wave Jam Pad is the brainchild of local musician, businessman, and promoter Donnie Red and local musical artist Rachel Shannon, who performs with the band Sugarkane & Co. Its season as a floating stage (it’s used as a land stage as well) begins this Friday at Whiskeytown Lake. Jon Lewis wrote a great article about the birth of the amphibious jam pad.
The Mosquito Serenade returns for its 40th year Wednesday evening. Another great week is in store in our local live entertainment scene. Go get ’em.
