Live Music in the North State: November 17 – 23

It isn’t the busiest week ever in our north state music scene, but there are some great acts out there nevertheless.

Thursdays have often been the busiest since live music came back–somewhat–following the pandemic shutdown. This Thursday is a case in point: you can catch Mumblefinger at Cafe Paradisio, The Pine Dogz at the Round Up Saloon, EmBareEs/Subject to Change/Raedean/The Y Axes at Demented Designs, open mics at Trinity County Brewing Company and Fratelli’s Pizza Parlor, Ashley Black at Three Shastas Bar & Grill, Jimmy Limo at the Best Western Tree House, and even Hal Johnson the Singing Sasquatch at Sweetspot.

Enjoy, and thanks for supporting local live music.

Hal Johnson

Born and raised in Ventura County, Hal Johnson moved to Shasta County in 1994. After a 38 year career flying helicopters, he can now sometimes be spotted around the North State singing and wrestling his guitar into submission. He always feels funny writing about himself in the third person. Contact him at shastalivemusic@gmail.com.
