Bethel Church to Host “Church on the Ball Field”

On Sunday, August 30, 2020, Bethel Church will be hosting a socially distanced, outdoor church service for its members at their College View Campus. This will be their first in-person church service with local congregants since March 2020.

All church members attending are required to pre-register, self-screen for wellness at home, and check-in upon arrival. Attendance is limited to those pre-registered in order to maintain the outdoor space needed for physical distancing. Along with other safety measures, attendees are instructed to wear face coverings until reaching their previously outlined and socially distanced area on the ball field. At this time, Bethel Church’s services will not be open to the public or visitors due to limited capacity.

“We look forward to making time and space to be together and invest in the spiritual and emotional health of our local church members. We recognize the positive impact that a healthy connection to faith as well as community can have on a person’s overall well being,” says Aaron Tesauro, Communications Director. As part of Bethel Church’s plan to re-open during this phase, services will be held outside on a weekly basis. Bethel is in contact with Public Health officials and has communicated the safety plan for this new church activity.
