Hospitalized in Shasta County: 6

In Isolation: 43

Currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU): 3

In Quarantine: 317

Released from Isolation to Date: 346

Negative Tests 8/4/2020: 105

Negative Tests to Date: 22,785

CURRENT SITUATION

• We had 7 new cases on Tuesday. Six had symptoms, one is still under investigation, and one is hospitalized.

They are:
Two women in their 20s
One woman in her 30s
One man in his 30s
One woman in her 40s
One woman in her 50s
One man in his 50s

• Micro-enterprise businesses throughout the county are eligible to apply for $5,000 COVID-19 Relief Grants. Recipients must have 5 or fewer employees, be a for-profit business, be a brick-and-mortar business (including home-based) and have not received a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan or SBA loan of $5,000 or higher during the COVID-19 crisis, among other requirements. Shasta County and the Cities of Redding, Shasta Lake and Anderson partnered with the Redding Chamber of Commerce for this effort. For more information, visit
