The candidate filing period the November 3rd, 2020 General Election ends this Friday, August 7th at 5 pm. If you are interested in becoming a candidate please contact the Shasta County Elections office by phone at 530-225-5731, by email at elections@co.shasta.ca.us, or come to the office at 1643 Market St, Redding CA, 96001.
Candidates are encouraged to complete an application at www.elections.co.shasta.ca.us/candidateapplication/ to receive candidate documents by email prior to office visit.
Candidate filing is done on a first-come-first-serve basis between the hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Alternatives to in-office filing are available upon request.
