• Shasta County has 1 new positive case. The patient is a woman in her 20s with symptoms. She is isolated at home.

• If you are ill, please stay home. Symptoms can include cough, fever, chills, muscle pain, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, sore throat, and new loss of taste or smell. This is an important component of disease control.

• Anyone can be tested for COVID-19. If you have symptoms, contact your healthcare provider or call (530) 225-5591. People with or without symptoms can sign up for testing at Shasta College by going to Appointments are required.
