• Shasta County has no new positive cases today.

• Unified Command would like to thank businesses who have taken proactive measures to help keep the community healthy and help prevent the spread of COVID-19 while California is still under the governor’s stay-at-home order. Some of the safe business practices seen locally include:

o Protective shield between cashiers and customers.
o Floor indicators to ensure social distancing for customers in checkout lines.
o Sanitizing debit/credit card machines between customers.
o Supplying customers with hand sanitizer and sanitizing carts between customer uses.
o Requiring face coverings for customers and staff by businesses that may be too small to allow for social distance at all times.
o Limiting the number of customers in the store to allow customers and staff to maintain social distance.
