On May 1, 2020, around 5:00 p.m., the Redding Police Department was contacted regarding a Missing Person at Risk. Talley Burgin, 85 years old of Redding, left his home in his vehicle without explanation. Burgin had been acting confused throughout the day and suffers from the onset of Dementia. Burgin is described as 5’8”, 160 pounds with brown eyes and grey hair. Burgin was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans with brown shoes. He left his glasses and dentures at home. Burgin was driving a cream colored 2005 Lincoln Town Car with a California license plate of 5HQT570. Attached is a photograph of Burgin.
The Redding Police Department conducted an extensive check of the surrounding area, several parks and the local hospitals without locating Talley Burgin. Anyone who locates Burgin should contact the Redding Police Department so he can be reunited with his family.
