All About Animals: A Letter to Friends of Bella Vista Farms

Dear Friends,

On March 2018 Bella Vista Farms Animal Sanctuary held our 5th Annual fundraiser at Win-River Resort and Casino. We were honored with the presence of over 400 guests. Many old friends and new friends came together for the sole purpose of honoring rescue animals and to support the efforts of Bella Vista Farms. It was a huge success and a fun, upbeat evening.

We are writing to regretfully announce that it was our final large, formal fundraiser. Due to the tremendous amount of time and energy put forth to put together such a huge event, it has left us with no other option than to put those hours back to work here on the farm where the need is so great.

The sanctuary is home to several hundred abused, abandoned, injured and unwanted animals, including deaf, blind, diabetic and heart related problems. Dogs, cats, sheep, alpacas, parrots, goats, finches, doves, canaries, cockatiels, horses, ponies, donkeys, chickens, geese, turkeys and cows call Bella Vista Farms their home.

Each day these animals consume:

  • 50 pounds of grain
  • 20 cans of dog food
  • 50 pounds of dry dog food
  • 15 cans of cat food
  • 25 pounds of dry cat food
  • 12 bales of hay
  • 25 pounds of parrot food
  • 10 pounds of cooked rice
  • 25 pounds of chicken scratch
  • 10 cans of miscellaneous vegetables.

So, as you can see, the need for feed, medicine, medical supplies, and shelter maintenance is ongoing.

These animals need your support! Please consider a one-time donation or a monthly donation. Your contribution will help us maintain a loving, permanent home for those already here and for the many rescue animals that will find a home with us this year. 100% of your tax-deductible donation will go directly to support the animals. You may send a check payable to Bella Vista Farms Animal Sanctuary, 4301 Lower Gas Point Rd, Cottonwood, CA 96022. To donate online, please visit our website at www.BellaVistaFarm.org.

With our sincere gratitude for your support,

Bob and Chic Miller
