‘Rachelle’s House’: A Short Film by Robert Burke

Hello clever people! This week, instead of submitting a review to share with you all, I am shaking it up with something different; my new short film!

If you’ve ever watched my reviews and wondered what it would be like if I made a film myself, click the link below and check it out! (WARNING: The film contains strong language and mature themes throughout, including family drama and brief drug use by a minor.)

Robert Burke
Robert Burke is a 16-year-old film critic currently attending Shasta High School. His love for film started when he was very young, and grows as he learns more and more about it. Robert expresses his love for film through reviews, which can be found on this website every Saturday. Film is not his only passion, as he also loves to act in local productions with Cascade Theater, Shasta College and Riverfront Playhouse. He currently lives in Redding, CA, and hopes to one day be a film director. To view all of Robert’s reviews go to theclevercritics.com.

You are a story teller Robert! Thank you for sharing your film. You have probably already critiqued it over and over but I have a couple of comments. Jon was a superb leading actor. Your attention to details such as lighting and camera perspective are evident throughout this work. Your script and story line will change as you get older and learn more about the world of people. Again, thank you so much!

  2. Robert, you are on your way, and have taken your journey from film critic to film-maker. Congratulations!
I applaud your drive, your ambition and your tenacity to take on such a huge project.

I am honored to have aNewsCafe.com as the place where you can show your work and your development as you grow in your career. Thank you for sharing. Keep it up!
