Description:  Build your child’s “outside the box” thinking skills with this project based 2 week camp based on FUN and focused on design processes, creativity, building connections, and problem solving using art and science to explore biomimicry to learn from nature.

What is Biomimicry? It is a new way of looking at how nature “gets things done” and then using that knowledge to discover and uncover nature inspired designs and strategies that help us find more resilient and sustainable solutions to challenges we are facing. This emerging field is changing how scientists and innovators look at nature and this is a great opportunity for your child to learn to “see” nature in new ways AND have fun at the same time!

Taught by seasoned credentialed educators and artists, students will be working in age appropriate groups (2nd-3rd; 4th-5th; 6th-7th) while exploring nature’s designs, adaptations of plants and animals, closed loop systems, structure and habitats and so much more!
