Shasta Orthopaedics is proud to announce the addition of yet another accomplished physician to their team. Dr. Kimberly A. Page, M. D., FAANS, formally of North Valley Neurosurgery, will be accepting patients at Shasta Orthopaedics beginning February 14.
Page is a board-certified and fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, and one of Redding’s most accomplished and well-recognized neurosurgeons. She has offered comprehensive Neurosurgical care to the north state and its residents since 1996.
Page’s arrival at Shasta Orthopaedics comes as the group works to expand their already impressive Spine Center, whose services range from spinal surgery to non-invasive spinal techniques and treatments.
The addition of Page to Shasta Orthopaedics, as well as her North Valley Neurosurgery staff, is part of Shasta Orthopaedics' ongoing commitment to improve the care for people with spine problems. She will work alongside Shasta Orthopaedics’ finest physicians, including Dr. Farzad Sabet, who specializes in spinal injections and other non-invasive methods to treat neck and back pain, as well as Dr. Lance Lollar, Shasta Orthopaedics’ chiropractor, who focuses on helping patients recover from various musculoskeletal injuries.
Page said she is excited to start a new chapter with Shasta Orthopaedics, and is committed to healing and rehabilitating patients through expert and compassionate neurosurgical care.
She completed her residency training in Neurosurgery at Stanford University in 1995. Prior to medical school, Page received both her bachelor's and master's degrees in biology at the University of Nevada, Reno. She also completed fellowship training in Epilepsy and Functional Neurosurgery. Page is a member of many societies, including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons, American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Western Neurosurgical Society, and American Epilepsy Society. Dr. Page has been on the executive board and officer of the California Association of Neurological Surgeons for more than 10 years.
When not working, this California native enjoys spending time with her two children and staying active with a variety of sports.
Gary Whiteaker, Shasta Orthopaedics administrator, said he and his team are thrilled to welcome Dr. Page to their experienced team.
"She joins us with a strong focus on neurosurgical care," Whiteaker said. "We know she will add a lot of quality and value to our practice and to our patients."
