It’s a girl!
Hayfork’s Amanda Hagerman and Nick Brown welcomed their daughter Skylar into the world at 3:41 a.m. Monday, the first New Year’s baby of the year at Mercy Medical Center in Redding.
The second baby of the year arrived about an hour later.
Skylar weighed in at 8.26 pounds, and is 20 inches long. Mother and baby are doing fine, but are tired. It’s Amanda’s first baby. She had a long labor before a C-section was performed early in the morning.
Dignity Health provided a large gift basket. Congratulations to the family!
