Aauw 47th Annual Home Tour & Art Show/Art Gala on Nov. 3 & 4 – Enjoy Local Art, Wine, Homes While Raising Scholarship Funds!

The Historic Frisbie Mansion

The Redding Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) announced that its 47th Annual Home Tour & Art Show/Art Gala will be on Nov. 3 and 4 this year. Attendees help raise scholarship funds by joining in the fun — touring homes, and enjoying local art, wine and music! To date, AAUW Redding has awarded more than $260,000 in educational scholarships to 435 North State young women!

The Art Gala will be on Friday, Nov. 3, from 5-8 p.m., at the Moseley Family Cellars at 4712 Mountain Lakes Blvd. in Redding. Enjoy a night of meeting local artists and viewing their work, the soft rock and jazz sounds of “Off the Charts,” complimentary appetizers and a no-host wine bar ($5/glass). More than 20 local artists’ original works, as well as prints and notecards, will be available for sale. Raffle tickets for various gift cards and unique items – such as a Christmas Nutcracker-themed Breakfast Tablescape (designed by Mimi Moseley) — will be on sale. Tickets for the Gala are $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

The 47th AAUW Home Tour & Art Show will be on Saturday, Nov. 4. Enjoy a tour of 4 incredible Redding homes — including the Historic Frisbie Mansion and a local Bed & Breakfast — as well as a show of local artists’ work for sale at the Art Venue (Moseley Family Cellars). Tickets for the Home Tour & Art Show are $25 in advance.

TICKET/GUIDES FOR BOTH EVENTS MAY BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE, BEGINNING OCT. 6 AT THE FOLLOWING LOCAL OUTLETS: Holiday Market on Placer, Holiday Market on Hartnell, Enjoy the Store, Dandelion, Jose Antonio’s, Plaza Interiors Furniture & Design, Palo Cedro Gift Gallery, Wild Thyme Gifts & Garden, or at www.AAUWRedding.org.

Proceeds from this annual event go to college scholarships for local young women, and the AAUW Redding Branch American Fellowship Endowment.
